It is not every day I get to not only watch as a friend gets transformed into a beautiful bride, but also have the honor of capturing the memories, the love, the emotion and all of the little moments in between. July 8th 2017 Anna said “I do” to her best friend and now hubby Daniel. The day started with Anna being surrounded by some of her closest friends helping her get ready for her big moment. From hair to makeup to all of the final adjustments, her girls had her back 100%. Not a single detail was left undone. Meanwhile, Mrs. Heather from the Barn at TH Farms was putting all of the final touches together at the venue. From the tables with the simple centerpieces, the decor which really set the mood, to Daniel’s AWESOME firefighter cake that was oh so yummy! I can begin to describe how AMAZING this venue was!! SO rustic, so elegant, so CHIC!
I have known Anna and Daniel for about a year and a half, but to see the love the two had for one another outside of the usual handout was incredible. The look on his face as she turned the corned accompanied by her Dad and Mom was incredible. I may have even seen a tear or two (shhh don’t tell) After the ceremony we battled the good ole Louisiana weather and it was determined to rain! I was not letting that stop me from getting some amazing bridal party pictures though. With a group like this it is not something you want to miss. Full of fun, personality and laughs, it does not get any better than this!
The best was yet to come. After the first dance, which by the way was BEAUTIFUL! with the barn backdrop and the sun flowing into the doors, was the father daughter dance. Ok, get ready to grab your kleenex, got them? GOOD you will need it. Anna’s dad is in a wheelchair after a bad accident, paralyzed on one side he is unable to stand on his own and needs constant care. That was not going to stop him from dancing with his little girl. With new husband Daniel and brother in law Chirs’s help she was also to hold him up long enough for them to have the perfect dance. It was the purest form of love I have ever seen. Even I, who sees beautiful things happen at every wedding was flooded with emotion. The love and support of the two families was amazing. This y’all is what dreams are made of.
